Secondary schools are offered a selection of curriculum related guided tours and object handling sessions. Please contact the museum to discuss your curriculum needs or to request a specific tour.
If your school would like a member of our learning team to visit and present a session please click on our Community and Outreach section for more information.
The museum is committed to providing valuable and structured work experience to help build key skills and inform students’ future career choices. Throughout the week, students will gain confidence and knowledge working behind the scenes on a range of activities including collections cataloguing and care, schools and learning, front of house and social media. Students should apply at least four weeks before their placement is due to start. Please contact the museum for further information and availability.
